Equality Fitness & Recreation provides guidance and expertise to support all individuals to meet their fitness, recreation, and wellness goals.  Our Mission is to provide equal access to fitness, physical activity, recreation, sport and wellness services for all individuals, being respectful and accepting of a person’s age, abilities, impairment, gender identity, sexual orientation, spirituality, cultural background or mental health.

One on One In-Home Training: To help reduce barriers to being active, we provide services directly in your own home.

Transition Support: Interested in going to a community fitness center but don’t know how to get started? Need an advocate to ensure equal access? Need accessibility support and education on how to adapt equipment for your needs? We can support you to make a positive and successful start in your own community.

Children & Youth: We recognize that no two families are the same. Our collaborative, family-centered approach means that our services are tailored and modified to support your child in a way that suits your family best. To help reduce barriers to being active, we provide services directly in your home or community. Our team will bring the necessary equipment and resources to support your child’s health, wellness, gross motor or sports skills, movement, or physical activity goals.

Aquatic Therapy: Water provides an equalizing environment to do basic movements (walking and balance) or exercises to help keep you strong with limited impact on your body. We provide one on one or group aquatic therapy options in the community.

Rural Support: Finding options to be active in a rural community can be difficult. We can provide online options to support and motivate you to be active and meet your goals.
or workshops to support.

All programs range from $60-$90/session. For more information on our services and our team, please visit our website at www.equalityfitness.com or contact the Health Services Coordinator with NWA.
BUSINESS HOURS: We are a mobile organization – Services Available – Monday – Fridays; certain programs on the weekends from 5:30am – 8:00pm. We offer hands on support to the full Greater Edmonton area (this includes all the surrounding communities). Online and phone support are also available through our Rural Support Program.
